Meet our design expert 1:1 on a video call to discuss how we can help you create a unique piece of jewelry for you. All our design experts are trained in jewelry and will advise you based on your preferences, budget and need. The VelvetCase custom jewelry experience has 4 steps: 1) One-On-One Consultation At VelvetCase, it’s important to us that we understand exactly what you want in your custom made jewellery. One of our designers will personally work with you to collaborate and discuss all of the possibilities: reviewing photos, sketches and actual pieces. Through this process, we can develop a basic sketch, advise you on stone quality, precious metals, comfort and wear. 2) Custom Jewellery Design Approval We then create computer-aided design (CAD) drawings and render it as a photo-realistic image. We want your custom made jewellery to be perfect, so we will alter the rendering until it meets your expectations. 3) Custom Jewellery 3D Printed Wax Model Once you have approved the sketches, a three-dimensional wax model of your design will be made. This is an extremely accurate preview of the final product. At this stage of the custom jewellery design process we want to make sure the rendering is translating into the piece of jewellery of your dreams. 4) The Finished Product You receive a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece of heirloom quality jewellery that will be enjoyed for generations to come. Each piece goes through 15 levels of quality check including a final certification by one of the acclaimed international jewellery grading laboratories.
